ANZ is expanding its Australian group insurance offering with the launch of new digital tools for trustees and members.
OnePath has added two tools providing members and trustees digital access to a centralised source of claims information.
RiskWorks Insurance Manager will allow trustees to obtain member updates at any time, allowing trustees to deliver a better customer experience.
The new tool will also ensure super funds and trustees meet their obligations under the Insurance in Superannuation Code of Practice with online access to performance data.
Already in use with 26 funds, the tool was developed in response to trustee feedback, according to ANZ.
ANZ added members will now be able to access up-to-date claim information with the launch of Riskworks MyClaim. The tool is designed to allow trustees and members to have better claims discussions with added transparency and clarity over the status of claims.
ANZ Wealth head of insurance Gerard Kerr commented that the new portals added what amounts to self-service capability.
"At OnePath, innovation means change that adds value for clients. In early 2017, we devised a detailed innovation roadmap that details our service proposition to our clients. This is being delivered through a number of service initiatives and new technology, including the trustee and member portals which give trustees and members self-service capability," Kerr said.
Yesterday ANZ announced it would be selling its NZ OnePath life business.
