The Advisers Big Day Out (ABDO), has been designed to give advisers an insight into the latest topics from a select group of fund managers in a time effective manner. The ABDO program is delivered to regional & capital city locations across Australia.
The program is Financial Standard's professional development roadshow, attended by financial advisers around the country each year.
ABDO gives you the chance to network with your peers and hear from Australia's leading fund managers and be kept up-to-date with the diverse range of investment opportunities while gaining CPD hours.

Through executive level roles across institutional, retail, international funds management and private wealth businesses, George has developed highly nuanced communication skills allowing him to relate to a variety of risk profiles and personalities.
In his senior roles with financial services groups including Challenger and IOOF he was responsible for capital raisings for specialised managed offerings, property and infrastructure syndicates including overseas closed end funds.
Nathan was the Managing Director and Country Head of Australia & New Zealand for a Global Alternative Asset Manager. More recently, he was the Head of Distribution for an Australian Small Cap Manager & Alternatives including Real Estate Investments.
At Newmark, Nathan engages with financial advisers, dealer groups, private wealth firms, family offices and wholesale investors to build strategic partnerships, and expand the company's presence in Australia's property funds management sector.
Before joining Newmark, Damian managed various unlisted property and property securities funds at Australian Unity, Karara Capital and 360 Capital Group. He also has experience managing several Australian REIT and direct property funds during a twelve-year career at APN Property Group.
Damian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University, has completed the FINSIA Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and holds a Diploma in Property Investment and Finance from the Property Council of Australia.
