Legalsuper hires compliance exec from Mercer

A new executive manager compliance joined legalsuper this week.

Kaye Wheatley-Brown joins the $3 billion, 40,000-member superannuation fund from Mercer, where she was principal, senior risk and compliance leader, financial services, advice and insurance.

Prior to that, she was an associate director at KPMG, manager compliance and risk at VicSuper, a superannuation consultant at AXA, a superannuation co-ordinator at Australian Retirement Fund and held various roles at one of the predecessors of APRA, the Insurance and Superannuation Commission.

Earlier this week Mercer confirmed it had finalised its global restructure, announced internally to staff in December.

Mercer recently reorganised its global business under three lines: health, wealth and career, with a view to "simplifying Mercer's organisation, allowing client facing colleagues to respond even more quickly to clients' needs and empowering local management to make more local decisions."
