IRESS looked inward to find its new head of institutional broking.
George Vidinis has been appointed to lead the account management of the firm's institutional and online broking clients.
Vidinis has served IRESS since joining the firm as an account executive in 2014. Early last year his responsibilities increased when he became a key account manager across institutional and online, before this most recent promotion.
Kirsty Gross, IRESS' managing director of financial markets in Australia and New Zealand welcomed Vidinis' appointment, noting his industry expertise.

"I congratulate George on his appointment. Over the past four-and-a-half years he has proven himself to be an emerging leader within our organisation, with an ability to think innovatively and a deep knowledge of the industry," Gross said.
"I'm confident under George's leadership we're well positioned to continue to support our clients."
Prior to joining IRESS, Vidinis held product management and broking roles at Australian forex broker FP Markets.
Earlier this month, Chi-X hired IRESS' former head of institutional and online trading services, Adrian Fyffe, as its team expands.
