Knight Frank names new South Australia managing directorBY VINNY VUCAGO | THURSDAY, 25 JUN 2026 11:59AM![]() Knight Frank has appointed Natasha Barron as managing director of South Australia, succeeding long-serving state leader Bobbette Scott as the commercial property group continues to strengthen it leadership team. Barron joins from Growthpoint Properties Australia, where she spent more than six years, most recently as senior assets manager. She brings more than 23 years of experience across the commercial property sector, having worked in property management, capital transactions and leadership roles across multiple asset classes. She will replace Scott, who joined Knight Frank in 2014 and has held several senior leadership positions during her tenure, including head of director for South Australia and a member of the firms national executive committee. Scott will transition into a part-time role as partner, asset management services, in South Australia after deciding to step down from the managing director position for family reasons. Knight Frank chief executive James Patterson said Barron brought extensive management services, in South Australia after deciding to step down from the managing director position for family reasons. "Natasha has very extensive experience in the market, having worked across property management and capital transactions teams across all the commercial property sectors, and in several management roles," he said. He said the firm was confident Barron would continue to drive growth while maintaining a strong focus on clients and staff. Patterson also paid tribute to Scott's contribution over the past decade, saying her leadership had both helped the South Australian business thrive both professionally and culturally. Barron said she was excited to join the firm and lead its South Australian operations. "I am honoured to be joining Knight Frank and to have the opportunity to lead the South Australian business," she said. "The strength of the platform, the quality of the team and the firm's client focus make this an exciting next step," Barron said. She added that returning to her hometown gave the move additional significance and said she looked forward to building on the foundations already established to support the firm's continued growth in the state.
