Allianz Retire+ appoints senior manager

Allianz Retire+ has appointed Kiru Anantharaj as senior manager, retirement solutions, within its distribution and marketing team.

Anantharaj brings more than 20 years' experience across insurance, advice, retirement and superannuation.

Prior to joining Allianz Retire+, she was a retirement specialist (MyNorth Lifetime) at AMP.

She has also previously held roles at Insignia Financial, MLC Life Insurance, BT Advice and ANZ.

Chief distribution and marketing officers Catherine van der Veen and Lucy Foster said Anantharaj experience and relationships would support the business in its next phase of growth.

The group said this month that the uptake of the Allianz Guaranteed Income for Life (AGILE) rose 31% since the start of the year.
