Basically So what ! ASIC does not report to any Minister (elected official) so Greg and his colleges can do what ever they like.
ASIC in my opinion is an absolutely useless organization and its officers should be made personally liable for the countless errors they make which cost the Australian public millions. If a private firm was run in a similar vein to ASIC it would be out of business before it started with directors facing jail time.
