Caesar should not judge Caesar in respect of the CBA scandal, but important as this scandal is, the Murray Inquiry is much bigger. At most, the CBA issue will be a small part of the FSI deliberations. David Murray is eminently qualified for the larger job and to remove him because of CBA is to throw the baby out with the bath water.
Nevertheless, the CBA scandal is a serious breach of trust by a significant organisation and will take a long time to fade.
