ASIC moves to prevent repetition of Groundhog scheme

The Supreme Court of Queensland today ordered Ian Hall and David McEvoy of PricewaterhouseCoopers to liquidate two companies and an unregistered managed investment scheme that took approximately $3.5 million from 161 Australian investors in a scheme that had promised returns of 10 per cent per month.
