If AMP continue to sack staff in Australia and relocate the jobs to India, they may need to change their name from AMP (Australian Mutual Provident) to IMP (Indian Mutual Provident). Hardly a good approach from a supposedly Australian company.
As a shareholder I think they should try and cut costs to the best of their ability. Sorry but that is the cold hard truth. Why should they be hamstrung because they are 'Australian'?
