TCorp has hired Commonwealth Bank's long-standing head of debt markets.
Simon Ling is joining TCorp as its general manager, financial markets.
TCorp chief executive David Deverall said: "I'm delighted to welcome Simon to the executive team and I am confident he will be a great addition, bringing over 30 years' local and global experience in financial services across product, client relationship building and financial management."
Ling will be responsible for overseeing TCorp's financial markets business and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to manage all debt and financial risk management related activity and ensure delivery of client-centric solutions, he said.

In his most recent role, Ling manages CBA's debt capital markets, securitization, loan underwriting, syndication businesses and private asset group.
Prior to this, his roles included Westpac's head of debt and hybrid securities, RBC Capital Markets' global head of debt origination (UK) and a director at Hambros Bank.
"During his time at CBA, he helped to develop a sustainable and social finance team. Ling is passionate about sustainability and was jointly responsible for arranging one of the first social benefit bonds in Australia," TCorp said.
TCorp has over $100 billion in funds under management and provides investment and financial management solutions to the NSW public sector.
It has restructured its investment in the past year, hiring from Future Fund and Mercer.
