The deputy chair of ASIC's Markets Disciplinary Panel joined a $730 million impact fund manager as a guardian of purpose.
Impact Investment Group (IIG) has welcomed legal and risk professional Cilla Boreham to the board of Impact Funds Management, which holds the fiduciary responsibility for IIG's trusts and funds.
She will serve as an independent director, otherwise known as a guardian of purpose.
Boreham has been the deputy chair of ASIC's Markets Disciplinary Panel since 2016 and previously served as head of legal, compliance and risk at JBWere for seven years.
In addition to IIG, Boreham serves as a non-executive director on the board of Yarra Funds Management, the responsible entity for the managed funds offered by Yarra Capital Management.
She is also a non-executive director of ShareGift Australia, a not-for-profit that encourages philanthropy through the donation of shares to charity without paying brokerage fees.
IIG said it is thrilled to have Boreham join the Impact Funds Management board where she will work alongside Redbubble Limited chief financial officer Chris Nunn; former Melbourne Symphony Orchestra chief financial officer Francie Doolan; and IIG chief financial officer Paul Belcher.
