Executive Appointments

VFMC appoints deputy chair

Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) has announced an addition to the board and a new deputy chair.

Tom Considine will be deputy chair of the quasi-sovereign wealth fund.

A partner at Sayers Group, Considine joined the VFMC board in 2021 with experience in executive roles in the public sector. This includes interim chief executive of Suburban Rail Loop Authority and group head, advisory and civic infrastructure at Development Victoria.

He's also previously served as chief of staff to the Treasurer of Victoria. He was appointed as deputy chair by the Treasurer.

Meantime, Claire Rogers has been appointed non-executive director.

Rogers has extensive experience across for-purpose and not-for-profit roles.

She is group chair of CEO Mastermind, a former chief executive of World Vision Australia and head of digital banking at ANZ.

Rogers is also a non-executive director of Melbourne Business School, and co-founder and chief executive of Saas company Dutyof.care Solutions, trading as Oho.

VFMC chair Lisa Gay welcomed her to the board, saying she brings a wealth of expertise in digital transformation within financial services and for-purpose entities.

"Her strategic leadership skills in driving growth and innovation will be invaluable to VFMC and its clients," she said.
