SILC partners with Totality to give clients brokage accessBY RIDDHIMA TALWANI | THURSDAY, 15 OCT 2026 12:08PMWholesale trustee The SILC Group (SILC) has partnered with brokerage firm Totality to provide its equity fund manager clients with access to institutional-grade prime brokerage services. Under the agreement, Totality will provide execution, custody, settlement, financing and reporting services for listed equity funds. The partnership is already being utilised by the Lumina Equity Fund, with the Carrara Global Opportunities Fund currently transitioning to the new arrangement. Both funds operate with SILC as trustee and Totality as prime broker. SILC group managing director Koby Jones said the partnership significantly enhances the firm's ability to provide a turnkey solution for listed equity strategies. "Partnering with Totality gives our equity fund manager clients access to institutional-grade prime brokerage, custody and execution capabilities through a scalable and efficient model," Jones said. "We believe this will be particularly attractive to fund managers seeking an experienced, owner-led trustee partner combined with sophisticated trading infrastructure, efficient administration and institutional-quality service." The partnership enables the firm to provide equity managers with access to institutional trading, custody and settlement infrastructure without the need to establish their own brokerage relationships, SILC said. Totality chief executive Rasmus Korfits said the partnership aligns with the firm's commitment to support Australia's growing community of boutique and specialist fund managers. "We are delighted to partner with The SILC Group. By bringing together SILC's governance and trustee expertise with Totality's institutional execution, custody and prime brokerage capabilities, we are delivering an efficient and highly scalable solution for equity fund managers," he said. SILC delivers governance, compliance, fiduciary oversight and investor protection, while appointed investment managers retain responsibility for portfolio construction and investment decision-making. The group recently helped introduce a Denver-based investment manager to the local wholesale market with a new global equities fund. Felix Global Investment Management partnered with SILC to launch the Felix Global Partners Fund. Related News |
