Equip Super financial chief to exit amid C-suite reshuffleBY MATTHEW WAI | THURSDAY, 15 OCT 2026 12:04PMEquip Super has restructured its C-suite by welcoming four new members, while announcing its long-serving chief financial officer is set to depart at the end of November. The move follows Equip Super chief executive Luke Symons completing his first 100 days at the helm, with the new structure aiming to elevate fund into its next phase. The appointments include Mirella Robinson as chief technology officer, Charlie Yanni as chief member and employer officer, Colin Adamson as chief commercial officer, and Alissa Knight as chief strategy and enablement officer. Robinson was most recently chief technology officer at Acenda for more than two years, she also served as chief information technology officer at Cbus. Yanni's appointment extends his eight-year tenure at the super fund, where he previously held multiple C-suite roles including acting chief operating officer, chief experience officer, and chief growth officer and employer relations. Adamson joins after a short stint at Entregar Partners. He was most notable for his time at legalsuper as chief commercial officer for two years. Knight spent over 15 years at AIA Group across Australia and Hong Kong, while brining extensive experience in the super sector at legalsuper and HESTA. Equip Super is also in market for a new chief financial officer, with an appointment to be announced in due course. Outgoing chief financial officer Marc Pizzichetta has been serving in the role since October 2018 and was the acting chief executive until Symons' arrival earlier this year. Symons thanked Pizzichetta's contributions to the fund. "In light of the fund embarking on a new five-year strategy with associated operating model changes, Marc Pizzichetta has advised that he would like to explore new career opportunities," Symons said. "We have mutually agreed that he will leave Equip Super at the end of November. We are grateful for Marc's significant contribution to Equip Super, including his leadership as interim chief executive, and for the support he has provided to the business." Symons said the restructure is designed to accelerate delivery of the fund's strategy, strengthen its member proposition and support future growth. "Over time, we want to broaden our proposition. Equip Super has strong foundations, and these appointments position us to build on them with greater pace and focus," Symons said. "Our ambition is to deliver consistently from end to end, make it easier for members and employers to deal with us, strengthen our products, service, guidance and advice, and use data more effectively to anticipate and respond to members' needs. "I am excited about Equip Super's future and confident this structure will position us to succeed, grow and deliver even more for our members." Related News |
