Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners adds to APAC leadershipBY MATTHEW WAI | THURSDAY, 15 MAY 2025 12:39PMThe infrastructure investment manager has named two new senior appointments. Ryan Gordon, bringing 20 years of experience, has been appointed as managing director and head of APAC. He joined the firm after an 18-year tenure at QIC, most recently as its managing director, clients and business development where he was accountable for leadership, development and global sales and client strategy. Earlier in his career, Gordon held positions at Goldman Sachs, Bank of New York and National Australia Bank. Gordon will succeed Rob Kerr, current managing director and head of capital formation and investor engagement, APAC, who is set to leave the firm at the end of July. Meanwhile, Jonathan Borland has taken on the role of senior director, relationships and fundraising for Europe and Nordics. Borland spent six years at DWS Infrastructure as its coverage specialist. Prior to that, he held various roles at Aberdeen Standard Investments, Standard Life Investments, and HSBC Global Banking and Markets. Commenting, Quinkbrook co-founder and managing partner David Scaysbrook said the appointments align with the rapid growth the company is currently experiencing. "Ryan and Jonathan's respective track records of raising institutional capital for infrastructure and building long term investor relationships, make their appointments both very timely and welcome," Scaysbrook said. "As highly experienced professionals in private capital, Ryan and Jonathan will each play an important role in expanding our internal sales and client engagement capabilities." Scaysbrook thanked Kerr for his contribution. "Rob has been a highly valued member of the Quinbrook senior team for the past eight years and has been instrumental in raising considerable capital for multiple Quinbrook funds and establishing important relationships with our APAC investors," Scaysbrook added. "Quinbrook sincerely thanks Rob for his contributions to the firm and wish him the very best for the future." Related News |
