Plenary adds to executive lineupBY MATTHEW WAI | FRIDAY, 4 JUL 2025 12:34PMPlenary Group has unveiled a slew of promotions to its senior management structure, including the appointment of a new chief investment officer. All appointments will continue to work alongside the existing senior management teams in Asia Pacific and other key parts of the operation, Plenary said. Following the announcement of Paul Crowe succeeding David Lamming as chief executive earlier this year, the firm has announced Patrick Laurne as chief investment officer, while Chi-ling Looi has been named the chief executive of Asia and group head of debt. They have both been with the firm since 2008. Plenary also welcomed Damien Augustinus as group head of infrastructure, Sergio Calcarao as group head of development, and Warwick Taylor as group head of strategy and corporate development. It comes with three additional promotions; Lee Burnell and Carl Retschko have been appointed co-heads of origination for Asia Pacific - leading core infrastructure origination activities within the region - and George Rolfe has been promoted to head of property. Crowe said all the new roles reflect Plenary's strong focus on developing its own talent and focus on succession planning. "We have created global teams centered around our core value propositions, leveraging our in-country expertise while strengthening our governance and investment decision making," Crowe said. "The revised structure enables us to support our senior management teams in each region and drive growth in new markets we have identified around the world, while maintaining our leading position in existing markets such as Australia and the Middle East. "The coming years present a strong pipeline for the core infrastructure business and property pursuits in existing and new markets, and the team is perfectly positioned to lead the company through our next phase of growth." Lamming will remain as a member of the board, and as chair of both Plenary Middle East and Plenary's UK and Europe business. Related News |
