Diversified financial services firm OneVue announced an operations executive will spearhead the growth of its fund services business.
Newly appointed chief operating officer of fund services, Richard Linnegan, will lead the firms' expansion of its fund administration services - which includes providing outsourced unit registry and superannuation services.
Melbourne-based Linnegan joins OneVue after 18 years at Goldman Sachs Assets Management where he held a variety of roles, and was most recently the head of funds operations.
He also served as the head of the European shareholder services based in London before moving to Australia in 2006 to help transform the local asset management business.
Fund services executive general manager Richard Harris-Smith said Linnegan, after 25 years in asset management, brings expertise across unit registry, fund administration and custody operations in the Australian, European and Asian markets.
"OneVue fund services is on track to double the number of fund managers and funds it manages over the next 18 months so we need to continue to hire the best people in the market," Harris-Smith said.
Commenting on his appointment, Linnegan said: "OneVue has a very exciting future in terms of growth and contributing to a culture of providing excellent service to its clients is something I am passionate about."
