The former general manager - business development of SuperConcepts has stepped into a new role.
Stephen Doulgeridis has joined Superannuation Advisers Australia (SuperAA) as general manager, in a move designed to bolster leadership within the firm.
Doulgeridis has 25 years' experience in the self-managed superannuation industry.
SuperAA said the appointment marks a new phase in expansion for the firm as Doulgeridis brings with him an expansive professional network.
SuperAA chief executive Mike McHenry said: "Stephen is without doubt one of the most respected SMSF practitioners working in the industry today and we look forward to the contributions his experience and leadership will bring to our firms bold future plans."
Commenting on his appointment, Doulgeridis said: "I am excited to be working for Australia's leading SMSF Administration and Audit Firm and looking forward to actively contributing to enhancing and growing the firms' presence in the SMSF market."
He added that SuperAA is the fastest growing SMSF business in Australia.
"It has achieved this via organic growth rather than via acquisition," Doulgeridis said.
"The secret to its success is very simple; provide exceptional client service at a competitive price point and guarantee your turn-around time."
Doulgeridis spent just under four years with SuperConcepts, leaving his position in April.
He said on LinkedIn: "During my six months out of the SMSF industry I spent time travelling with my family, working on my garden, catching up on multiple seasons of my favourite shows."
Prior to his time at SuperConcepts, Doulgeridis was the founder and chief executive of Justsuper for 11 years, which was later acquired by SuperConcepts.
SuperConcepts is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AMP.
