Natixis creates new division, adds to C-suiteBY MATTHEW WAI | FRIDAY, 23 OCT 2026 12:01PMNatixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) has created a new C-suite role to oversee a fresh business division which will serve client markets, partnership functions globally, including Australia. Natixis IM has created the Global Client Development division, including a single distribution platform organised across six regions, with each to focus on meeting its clients' needs and investment preferences while taking local regulations and constraints into account. The division has also established a separate department for partnership, and products and solutions. The remit of the partnership department will be to strengthen existing strategic distribution partnerships and establish new ones with banking networks, insurers and other distributors around the world, while clients can expect solutions development and product range strategy tailored to clients' needs across retirement, long-term savings and wealth management. To lead the new division, Natixis IM head of international distribution Fabrice Chemouny will transition into the chief client officer role, effective 1 January 2027, reporting to chief executive Philippe Setbon. The new division will be implemented once an information and consultation process with the relevant employee representative bodies has been completed, the company said. Additionally, the new organisation is part of the BPCE Group's VISION 2030 strategic plan, and the creation of a single global platform bringing together the US, and the rest of the world will foster synergies between regions, where clients will have easier access to the full range of expertise offered by Natixis IM and its affiliated asset management firms. Commenting, Setbon said the new formation will develop solutions to capitalise on an "increasingly fragmented" global environment. "Our strategic plan has proven successful, and we want to go further. This new organisation further strengthens the position of clients at the heart of our model across all regions and supports the acceleration of our growth," Setbon said. Chemouny added: "By bringing our teams together in a new global organisation, we combine in-depth knowledge of each market with the strength of a global player." "We will also make our offering available to more clients through new distribution partnerships and work with them to develop solutions tailored to their long-term needs. "This transformation will give us the agility we need in volatile markets, foster synergies across regions and drive innovation in the service of our clients." Related News |
