Movers and shakers: Cbus, HESTA, Rest, Minderoo and Colonial First State

Cbus Super has farewelled Divya Jain who has joined Rest Super as a senior portfolio manager as the $80 billion fund continues to strengthen its asset allocation team.

Jain spent two years at Cbus after a seven-year stint at AustralianSuper, where she focused on emerging market currencies and fixed income.

She started her career there as a graduate analyst and left as an associate portfolio manager in the fixed income, credit and currency team.

Meanwhile, Simon Beeny has been promoted to senior portfolio manager at HESTA.

Beeny joined the $93 billion fund eight years ago and most recently worked as investment manager for portfolio strategy and risk.

He previously covered listed assets, debt and alternatives, and spent almost five years as a consultant at JANA Investment Advisers.

HESTA has also farewelled Trevin Erichsen, its member services and operations general manager who stepped down after nearly two years in the role.

Erichsen joined HESTA in late 2022 from legalsuper, where he initially served as interim CEO before moving into the COO role. He's also held senior roles at Australian Retirement Trust and Sunsuper, where he spent 14 years.

"As my time at HESTA comes to an end, I have incredible appreciation for my time serving HESTA's more than 1 million members," Erichsen wrote on social media.

"If you ever get the opportunity to work with the team at HESTA, jump - you won't look back."

Former HESTA executive Dirk Dobbs has resurfaced at Cbus Super as a senior program director tasked with eading a significant transformation.

Dirk Dobbs, a strategy planning and transformation expert has taken on the role of senior program to progress an inorganic growth strategy.

During is eight years there, he held several senior roles including head of product.

"Thanks to everyone in my network who has given me time and/or introduced me to your contacts over the last little while as I've explored various opportunities locally and globally - I'm truly thankful for your friendship, guidance and introductions," he said on LinkedIn.

Elsewhere, Minderoo Foundation has promoted Yuliya Brayshaw to investment principal.

Brayshaw joined the foundation last year as an associate and previously worked at the University of Sydney and Russell Investments, where she spent seven years as an investment specialist.

In other moves, at Colonial First State, Ramali De Zoysa has been promoted to associate in the private equity and unlisted assets team.

She was previously a senior investment analyst and joined the fund as an analyst after nearly four years at AMP Capital, where she covered both strategy and listed equities.
