Mason Stevens farewells managing director

Mason Stevens managing director, global investment service has wrapped up his seven-year tenure at the company.

Nick Mitchell has departed the company but did not disclose where he will be heading next.

He has close to three decades of experience in financial services, including senior roles at BNP Paribas Investment Partners and Pendal Group, and more recently, served as head of distribution at Netwealth for close to three years.

"Today marks my last day at Mason Stevens after a very satisfying seven years building and leading the best distribution team in the market," Mitchell said.

"A debt of immense gratitude to the team that took me in way back then - Tim Yule, Thomas Bignill, Ron Erdos, Chris Alcott and David Hewett - we achieved plenty and never wavered from the clients-first approach that sits at the heart of Mason Stevens. "

"A great place to work, an excellent offering for clients - an outstanding group of people - both personally and professionally."

The business welcomed Leanne Taylor as its chief investment officer earlier this year, as it continues to expand into the high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) segments, including a mandate secured late last year with independent advisory firm GloryHouse.

Taylor succeeds Jacqueline Fernley, who departed the firm in October 2025 to found arcpoint OCIO, a dedicated resource for advice practices, family offices and charities and foundations.

The firm has since been awarded seven mandates, including the recent Hamilton Wealth Partners' appointment last month.
