LGT poaches Koda Capital's top-rated adviser

LGT Wealth Management has poached Koda Capital's 2025 top-rated adviser and partner Frank Macindoe.

Macindoe will be joining LGT Wealth Management in the first week of November.

He joined Koda Capital in early 2018 as a senior adviser and partner from JBWere where he served as an executive director for 16 years.  He was previously a partner at Blake Dawson for about 20 years.

"We thank Frank Macindoe for his contributions to the firm over many years and wish him well for the future. Our clients will continue to receive the high standard of service they expect from Koda Capital," Koda Capital chief of staff and partner Quentin Reeve said.

LGT Wealth Management recently expanded its Syndey private client advisers' team with five senior hires from UBS Wealth Management. Michael Marr, Sean Carroll Seamus quick, Stephen Cabot and Patrick Armitage join as senior investment advisers.

LGT Wealth Management chief executive Michael Chisholm had said the decision by five senior advisers to move to the firm represented a strong endorsement of its platform in a competitive market experienced wealth professional.

LGT Wealth Management recently also appointed Willem Strydom as its new chief technology officer, who joined the firm from Macquarie Wealth where he served as the director of engineering, overseeing its platform modernisation and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy. Strydom will focus on helping advisers deliver more tailored and consistent advice as clients' needs become increasingly sophisticated.

Chisholm said delivering high-quality advice increasingly depends on the technology, data and investment capabilities supporting advisers.
