The researcher made several appointments to the leadership of its research team to support the growing demand for investment research and managed account solutions.
Former Evans Dixon Corporate and Institutional chief operating officer Lorraine Robinson will take control of Lonsec Research in December as the firm's executive director.
Robinson is set to bring a mix of commercial acumen and strong research credentials to the firm, alongside her "intimate understanding of what users need to support their investment decisions", according to Lonsec.
With Robinson joining, current Lonsec Research executive director Libby Newman will move into the managed fund research division as director, having held the role since September 2018.
Lonsec said Newman's new role will see her involved in developing the firm's research capabilities and "maintaining the high standards of its process".
Current co-head of manager research Deanne Baker will shift into the investment solutions division as a diversified multi-asset portfolio manager, covering investment consulting and managed account solutions.
Peter Green will continue as head of listed research, while Rui Fernandes will also continue as co-head of manager research.
Lonsec chief executive Charlie Haynes said the speed of the firm's growth made it necessary to continue to add "quality people" to its team, pointing out the valuable addition Robinson will make to the company.
"We are excited to have Lorraine join us and for the continued depth of experience within the organisation which is the bedrock of Lonsec's growth," Haynes said.
