Yep lets get SMSFs to invest in a PST. Who is he kidding ? Lets have a managed investment invest in a managed investment so the SMSF can pay 2% fees on top of its own costs for an average return. The flow to SMSFs will continue and grow. There is nothing the industry funds can do as they simply have nothing to offer members with large balances except fees and average performance.
