Financial software firm strengthens leadership

A global provider of investment management software has strengthened its leadership team with the addition of a former BNP Paribas Securities Services head of sales.

SS&C Technology has appointed Steve Tremelling as managing director for institutional and investment management.

In his new role, Tremelling will be responsible for sales and client relationships within the firm's institutional and investment management business.

Based in Sydney, he will report to SS&C's senior vice president and general manager of institutional and investment management Christy Bremner.

Bremner said: "We're pleased to have Steve join our team in Australia. SS&C has a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to meet the market's needs and we are a well-known, proven and reliable partner in the market."

Tremelling has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and joins the firm from Simcorp, where he was Australasian head of sales.

He has previously held roles at RBC Investor & Treasury Services, Royal Bank of Canada and SimCorp.

"I am delighted to be joining the team at SS&C," Tremelling said.

"As the investment industry continues to embrace technology to accelerate growth and improve service, there is a recognised need to partner with global experts who have a local understanding to achieve business goals."
