Evidentia assembles inaugural executive leadership team

Managed account provider Evidentia Group has lifted the lid on its inaugural executive leadership lineup, spanning investments, client solutions and operations functions.

This move marks the organisation's formal debut in its redefined form, which Evidentia said lays the foundation for the next phase of "ambitious growth across key markets."

Evidentia Group was formed through a merger with Lonsec Investment Solutions and Implemented Portfolios - previously part of Lonsec Group, which was acquired by Generation Development Group (ASX: GDG) in August. Evidentia which was added to GDG's fold in February.

Former Evidentia chief investment officer Troy Swann has been tapped to lead the investment business as executive director of investment management. Swann will have a particular focus on governance and integrating and developing investment capabilities.

Darren Beesley, previously head of portfolio management at Evidentia, has taken on the role of chief investment officer, steering the firm's core investment process, including the formation and execution of its investment strategy.

Rounding out the investment function, Nathan Lim, formerly chief investment officer at Lonsec Investment Solutions, will serve as chief investment strategist.

In the client solutions function, Lonsec's former executive director of sales and service Marc Hraiki has been appointed general manager for adviser solutions. He will be responsible for driving business growth and engagement as well as delivering solutions for advisers and their clients through a "comprehensive and evolving suite of offerings," Evidentia said.

Hugh Holden, formerly a principal for asset consulting at Evidentia, now heads private wealth, and is tasked with driving the firm's private separately managed account solutions and leading the business consulting team.

Chris Carrodus, who was head of asset consulting at Evidentia, will spearhead the firm's private asset consulting services and drive its growing tailored solutions offering.

Naomi Christopher, previously head of marketing and public relations at Lonsec Group, has stepped into the role of general manager for marketing and communications.

In operations, Chris Smith has transitioned from head of investment services at Implemented Portfolios to general manager.

Will Gramolt was appointed chief financial officer and executive director, having most recently served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Evidentia.

Evidentia Group chief executive Mike Wright, who was previously chief executive of Lonsec, said the appointment of these leaders into new roles will be instrumental in building the next phase of the firm.
