Commonwealth Super partners for admin uplift

Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation will work with Novigi to consolidate all its systems into one administration platform under a new seven-year deal.

Effective immediately, CSC is partnering with Novigi to modernise the way it's administered and elevate the services it delivers to its 746,000 members, as part of the $70 billion fund's broader five-year transformation project.

Currently, Mercer is the administrator for CSC, having taken over after acquiring Pillar Administration from the NSW government in 2016. Pillar had been handed the contract around 2012 when it was decided PSSap administration would be transferred from ComSuper.

The new partnership involves migrating data systems for CSC's five distinct schemes and integrating its existing systems to a unified administration platform. Under the deal, some Canberra-based CSC technology staff will move over to Novigi to support the migration and ongoing operational phases, the fund said.

"We are continually focused on growing our members' balances and guiding them on the journey to a comfortable and fulfilling retirement," CSC chief executive Damian Hill said.

"To achieve this, we need to provide the best possible service experience and to ensure our administration and technology systems keep pace with our goals. We're confident that Novigi's expertise in superannuation and financial services will ensure that CSC's systems are future-proofed while mitigating any key risks.

"Consolidating our systems into one administration platform will reduce complexity and operational risk while enhancing the support we provide to our members."

Meantime, Novigi chief executive Ash Priest said the group is proud to be working with CSC.

"This announcement reflects our commitment to becoming a leading systems integration and platform managed services provider that delivers sustainable, value-driven solutions and cost-effective technology at scale, ensuring better outcomes for all," he said.

"Our collaboration with CSC aligns perfectly with our mission to enhance the superannuation experience through the delivery of effective data and technology solutions, ultimately benefiting members and supporting their financial futures."
