Club Plus Super promoted from within to name its new chief executive.
Stefan Strano, who has been acting in the role since the departure of inaugural chief executive Paul Cahill, has been formally appointed to the position.
Strano has been with the $2.2 billion fund for more than five years, most recently serving as head of marketing, brand and strategy.
Prior to joining Club Plus, Strano spent five years with Legal & General Investment Management in London and consulted for a number of financial services organisations.
He has held also various positions at BT Financial Group and BT Investment Management, spanning the economics team, institutional business development and brand and marketing communications.
"Stefan has been in the acting chief executive position since the start of the year. This appointment follows an extensive recruitment process and the board fully endorse Stefan as the fund's new chief executive officer," Club Plus chair Tara Moriarty said.
"I am honoured to be given this opportunity and excited about the path ahead," Strano commented.
