Bell Potter launches private wealth platformBY KARREN VERGARA | WEDNESDAY, 1 JUL 2026 12:30PMBell Financial Group (BFG) has launched Bell Potter Private Wealth (BPPW), a new platform that helps service its 300,000 clients with $92.1 billion in funds under advice. The platform centralises investment advice, portfolio management and consolidated reporting to give clients clearer visibility, greater control and access to investments. Its services BFG's clients which includes individual investors, families, trusts and foundations, companies, SMSFs and not-for-profits. The official launch of BPPW follows from BFG's tie-up with Praemium one year ago, when the latter was appointed to administer about 2200 portfolios at the time. With BPPW, clients can now access direct equities, private credit, private equity, unlisted funds and capital raises in one place. BFG co-chief executive Arnie Selvarajah said the platform forms part of a major digital transformation for the business, which includes an uplift to its client portal and a mobile app launching at the end of the month. It also "positions Bell Potter for the intergenerational wealth transfer estimated at $5.4 trillion over the next decade." "Our new website and mobile app puts clients in the driver's seat when it comes to visibility over their wealth. This is what modern wealth management looks like," Selvarajah said. It comes at a time where Australians are increasingly interested in investment solutions beyond Australian equities, he added, as one in five investors hold alternative investments. Kate Ingwersen, BFG's group head of product, said BPPW simplifies portfolio management and improves transparency. "Investors today are often managing multiple accounts, asset classes and investment registries, which can make it harder to see the full picture and increases administrative burden," she said. "We created Bell Potter Private Wealth to centralise this capability, making it easier for clients and their advisers to understand holistic portfolio performance, manage administration and access broader opportunities across markets. This gives investors peace of mind and flexibility as their circumstances evolve." BFG recently launched Tandem Capital, a margin lending and at-call investment offering for advisers and their clients. Related News |
