Apostle names new head of distribution

Apostle Funds Management has named a new head of distribution shortly after securing its chief executive.

Jonas Daly is joining the firm this week and will lead its national distribution team to oversee the firm's institutional and wholesale distribution strategy, working closely with clients and partners to support the continued expansion of Apostle's investment offering.

Daly has more than 30 years' experience across banking, capital markets and fund management. Most recently, he finished up at Bennelong Funds Management after 11 years as its chief of distribution and marketing.

Earlier in his career, he held senior distribution roles with Colonial First State, Commonwealth Bank, BT Funds Management, the Sydney Futures Exchange and the ASX.

Additionally, Lisa Walker has joined the firm as investor relations manager, bringing more than 20 years' experience managing institutional client relationships across global and Australian asset managers.

She has held senior roles with T. Rowe Price, Yarra Capital Management, Franklin Templeton, GMO Australia and Barclays Global Investors, working with super funds, insurers, asset consultants and family offices across both public and private markets.

Apostle said the appointments build on the recent announcement of Jeff Peters as chief executive and its partnership with Triton Partners.
