Leave the currently struggling pensioners alone, just don't waste big money on fighter jets.
Joe Hockey, leave the pensioners alone and cut the pollies expenses back, ie they are in office for 7 years then retire on hundred of thousands of dollars plus they get given a job somwhere else and still get their benefits ie their super, travel passes, offices and a lot more that we do not know about.
Leave the pensions alone !!! They have paid their taxes all their life so give them a go, it's their time now. I agree with Garry's comment, cut your own benefits after you finish your term. Or here is another thought, put some limitations on the Newstart benefit, payable for only 6 months, no cash, make it a voucher benefit so vouchers are given for grocery and utility bills. I am a young liberal supporter but if you cut the pension I will have to change my vote.
