Remara adds private wealth lead

Alternative assets firm Remara Investment Management has welcomed a new head of distribution to cater to the firm's private wealth clients.

Wayne Richardson joins Remara Investment Management with nearly two decades of experience in financial services in Australia and international markets.

He previously worked at the National Australia Bank, where he spent over 11 years in leadership roles, including regional director at NAB Private Wealth, and product manager for equities at nabtrade.

Additionally, Richardson also brings valuable product and distribution expertise from earlier roles at Australian Unity Investments, ING, and Computershare, where he worked in several markets including Hong Kong, Dubai, and Tokyo.

"Wayne's strategic insight and client-focused leadership will play a pivotal role in expanding Remara's direct distribution capabilities and furthering our mission to provide exceptional value to our investors," the private credit firm stated.

Richardson joins newcomer Tim Wilson, who stepped into the role of head of distribution for wealth and intermediaries following Ben Dixon's departure.

Dixon joined FA Global Investors - the advisory firm of Jonathan Belz and Gavin Ezekowitz -in February.

The duo welcomed Ben Dixon to the firm, which connects high-net-worth individuals and family offices with opportunities, as a director of client portfolios.

Wilson previously served as a private wealth adviser at Macquarie Group and Ord Minnett.
