Macquarie names new wrap platform leadBY MATTHEW WAI | TUESDAY, 1 SEP 2026 12:14PMMacquarie has appointed a new head of wrap platform after Michelle Weber stepped down from the role following a 13-year tenure at the company. Chloe Neil has taken on the role, and will be responsible for the strategy, growth and management of Macquarie's wrap platform business. She was most recently the head of managed accounts for nearly three years at the company, and the head of wealth platform risk governance for two years before that. She was also stationed at Commonwealth Bank and Morgan Stanley previously, while bringing extensive legal expertise across BT Financial Group, Investec Bank Australia, Shearman and Sterling, Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Coudert Brothers earlier in her career. Sharing her appointment on LinkedIn, Neil said she is looking forward to working with clients and partners to provide "seamless" digital experiences required to protect and grow their wealth. "At a time when the wealth management industry and investment landscape is changing rapidly, it's critical advisers have an experienced partner they can rely on and trust," Neil said on LinkedIn. "With more than 40 years of support for the wealth industry and with leading solutions such as Macquarie Wrap with $165 billion of funds under administration, our team is dedicated to building on our capabilities, service and solutions." Neil also thanked Weber for her guidance during the time they've worked together. "Lastly, I would like to thank Michelle for her leadership, insight and friendship over the past five years," Neil said. "Her contribution to the growth and transformation of the Macquarie wealth management business has been significant and has positioned us so well for the next phase of growth. We wish her the best of luck with her next chapter." Related News |
