Link Wealth acquires boutique advice firmBY ANDREW MCKEAN | FRIDAY, 6 JUN 2025 12:40PMLink Wealth's national expansion is continuing to progress, acquiring financial advice firm Xponential Advisory a few months after taking a majority stake in Sky Advisers. The acquisition will see the integration of more than 185 client families across Australia into Link Wealth's client book, bringing approximately $500,000 in annual revenue. It will also result in the establishment a new office in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, marking Link Wealth's expansion into Queensland. Xponential Advisory adviser Brendan Dilworth will stay on under the Link Wealth structure to ensure continuity of advice and an uninterrupted client experience. Link Wealth said it will be able to help Dilworth and future advisers that join the team to focus more time on client outcomes and less time on managing operational complexity. Link Wealth managing director Stephen Sloane said what stood out wasn't just the quality of the business, but "the calibre of relationships" Xponential Advisory has built over time. Link Wealth said the decision to expand into the Gold Coast was driven by a "clear need" for greater access to financial advice across Queensland, where many communities "remain underserved with limited access to financial support and guidance." It noted that the Queensland government's Financial Literacy and Resilience program had highlighted the need to improve financial knowledge and build financial capacity among Queenslanders, while also indicating gaps in access to financial services. Link Wealth said it "sees strong potential to bridge this gap," by providing consistent, high-quality advice and supporting the next generation of advisers through its national platform. Link Wealth's latest acquisition comes off the back of it move to take a 60% stake in Hobart-based advisory firm Sky Advisers in February. "These deals reflect Link Wealth's commitment to building a national presence by partnering with like-minded firms that deliver high-quality advice and demonstrate strong long-term potential," the firm said.
