Michael Marr, Sean Carroll Seamus quick, Stephen Cabot and Patrick Armitage join as senior investment advisers. They all came from UBS e Wealth Management, with backgrounds in private banking and wealth management, advising high and ultra-high net worth families, entrepreneurs and philanthropic organisation. The appointments come as LGTWM continues to build its private wealth offering, combing LGT Group's global capabilities with tis local investment and advisory expertise, including private markets and sustainable investing. LGTWM chief executive Michael Chisholm said the appointments would strengthen the depth of expertise available to clients navigating increasingly complex investment and intergenerational wealth needs. "At a time when families are navigating increasingly complex investment decisions and significant intergenerational wealth transitions, we are deliberately building the depth, continuity and collective expertise required to support them over the long term," Chisholm said. He said the decision by five senior advisers to move to LGTWM represented a strong endorsement of its platform in a competitive market experienced wealth professional. Marr joins as a partner and investment adviser after serving as head global wealth management Australia at UBS and previously leading Credit Suisse's Australian wealth management business. Quick and Cabot were both founding members of Credit Suisse's Australian private banking franchise in 2008, while Carroll brings more than 20 years or global financial services experience. Armitage spent 17 years with Credit Suisse Private bank and UBS after beginning his career as a financial services lawyer. Chisholm said LGT's private ownership by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein supported its long-term investment approach. "The addition of Michael, Sean, Seamus, Stephen and Patrick represents an important step in the continued development of our Australian private wealth business, and we look forward to the contribution they will make to our business and the clients we serve," Chisholm said.
