All about the slack

The monetary policy council (MPC) would be reassessing if continuing strong growth momentum is closing the slack in the economy - recently estimated to be around 1% to 1.5% of GDP -- fast enough ... for if they misjudge the slack, they'll be the ones accused of slacking.
