A self-managed superannuation industry stalwart has taken on a board advisory role with a boutique funds management firm.
Former SMSF Association chief executive Andrea Slattery will advise the board of fund manager and individually managed account provider, Private Portfolio Managers, for the next 12 months.
PPM founder and chairman Hugh McNally said the fund manager is delighted to welcome Andrea to advise its board.
"Her vision, integrity, deep knowledge of financial markets and overall business acumen will be a welcomed addition to assist our board of directors and facilitate the development of our strategic vision," McNally said.
Slattery founded and led the SMSFA for 14 years before stepping down in 2017. She has since gained non-executive directorships on the boards of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and Argo Global Listed Infrastructure.
In October 2017, PPM expanded its managed accounts offering to include separately managed accounts, introducing the PPM Global Growth SMA in response to growing demand from clients for access to an active global equities manager.
The PPM Global Growth SMA is available on Powerwrap.
