State Super announces new board appointmentBY VINNY VUCAGO | WEDNESDAY, 2 SEP 2026 12:02PM![]() State Super, the SAS Trustee Corporation, has named a new member of its board, saying the appointment will add to the trustee's governance structure. Pharmacy Guild of Australia (NSW Branch) state director Daniel Kicuroski will join the board, adding government, union and sector leadership experience. Kicuroski currently serves as State Director of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia's NSW branch and has held board positions across the community and pharmacy sectors, alongside executive roles with Transport NSW, the NSW department of education, the Royal Australian and New Zealand college of radiologists and the Transport Wokers Union. NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey said Kicuroski's experience across government, the union movement and different sectors would support the board's work. "Kicuroski has deep experience working in government, with the union movement and across different sectors that mean he is well-suited to contribute to the State Super board," Mookhey said. State Super chief executive John Livanas said Kicuroski's skills and focus on members would complement the existing board as the organisation navigates a challenging operating environment. "We are pleased to welcome Daniel to the board. His depth of skills and commitment to members will complement the board in supporting our organisation in a complex and challenging environment. We look forward to working with him," Livanas said. Kicuroski brings experience in member value, institutional strategy and risk management across regulated environments, with operational and strategic expertise relevant to the fund's long-term sustainability and fiduciary oversight of NSW public sector members. Earlier this year State Super named former superannuation chief executive Michael Dwyer as chair of its board, effective September 1. Dwyer succeeds acting chair Catherine Bolder and brings more than three decades of experience across superannuation, investment management and financial services. Related News |
