MLC Asset Management has announced a leadership change.
Head of investments Susan Gosling will be stepping down and Al Clark has been appointed in her place.
Gosling is retiring after 30 years in the industry, including 17 years at MLC.
"The Scenarios approach to investment management, MLC's Investment Futures Framework, was developed by Susan and has provided the philosophical and investment management foundations of our retail multi-asset portfolios since 2005," MLC chief investment officer Jonathan Armitage said.
"Susan's contributions go beyond intellectual and investment leadership; she has been a mentor and role model for many talented women who have gone on to enduring investment careers."
Armitage added that Clark is a respected investment specialist.
"He brings a broad set of skills and experiences to the role, including retail and institutional asset management, and product design, which will contribute to the evolution and progression of MLC's investment capabilities," Armitage said.
"There is strong philosophical alignment between Al's approach and MLC's investment practices and values, and we look forward to him coming onboard."
Clark has already joined MLC and Gosling will remain until the end of December.
Ben McCaw has also been promoted to senior portfolio manager for capital markets research.
