Trustee Partners hunts GM

Trustee Partners is recruiting a general manager to head its Australian operations.

The general manager will report to the global chief executive and be responsible for running day-to-day operations of the Australian business, including overseeing the integration of acquired businesses as a result of an "aggressive M&A program."

The newly created Melbourne-based role will also lead business unit heads, ensuring the required profitability, growth and productivity is achieved. Parent company Sargon Capital is expanding in the Asia-Pacific region and is projecting $200 billion of assets under trusteeship by the end of 2017.

In September 2016, Trustee Partners hired former Deloitte partner and #FSPower50 member Stephen Huppert as head of innovation.

Trustee Partners was launched in 2016 as a consulting division of Tidswell Financial Services, and is aiming to provide an alternative trustee business for superannuation funds and fintech entrepreneurs.

Trustee Partners has operations in Melbourne and Adelaide and opened a Sydney office this year.
