A $21 billion corporate superannuation fund has appointed the former head of research at JCP Investment Partners to a newly created role.
TelstraSuper is welcoming David Humphreys to the newly created role of head of sustainable investment.
Humphreys was most recently the head of research and senior investment analyst at JCP Investment Partners which shuttered in March this year.
In his new role Humphreys will be responsible for implementing the fund's sustainable investment policy across the entirety of its investments.

Commenting on the appointment, TelstraSuper chief executive Chris Davies said: "Super is a long-term investment so we're committed to thinking about the long-term prospects of the investments we make on our members' behalf."
"We're delighted to have someone of David's credentials on board to further refine and implement our ESG strategy and look forward to working with him."
In addition to JCP, Humphreys has also previously held senior roles with Suncorp, Morgan Stanley and Accenture.
His appointment follows that of a new chief risk officer in May.
Sabine Taylor joined TelstraSuper from Colonial First State in February in the role on an interim basis before taking on the role permanently three months later.
