Quinbrook appoints new chief executiveBY ANDREW MCKEAN | MONDAY, 16 JUN 2025 12:35PMQuinbrook Infrastructure Partners has filled a new chief executive role, with the appointee set to oversee all the investment manager's regional teams, in addition to announcing a slew of other leadership changes. Quinbrook's current Australian regional leader Brian Restall, who's been with the investment manager since its founding a decade ago, will transition to the newly created chief executive position by year's end. Restall has nearly three decades' experience in energy-related infrastructure investments and operating businesses in Australia, the US, Europe, and Africa. He's led over US$24 billion of power project developments and power asset construction, and served as the first chief executive of Quinbrook's Cape Byron Power. Most recently, he led the development and execution of Quinbrook's Supernode project. Quinbrook, meanwhile, appointed a new regional leader for North America and leader for its digital infrastructure strategies, in moves it said strengthen its executive leadership. Succeeding John Lucas, who leaves at the end of this month, as the regional leader for North America is Giulia Siccardo. She was most recently the inaugural director of manufacturing and energy supply chains at the US Department of Energy in Washington, D.C. In that role she oversaw the deployment of tens of billions of dollars in investments, building a portfolio of energy infrastructure projects spanning design, engineering, construction, and delivery. Prior to that role, she spent over a decade as a partner of McKinsey & Co in San Francisco and New York. Kathryn Lin, a director in Quinbrook's North American investment team was also promoted to senior director and leader of Quinbrook's digital infrastructure strategies. Lin is the investment lead and a director of the board of Quinbrook portfolio company Rowan Digital Infrastructure.
