HESTA's former executive of advice strategy has taken on a new role at another industry fund.
Justin McMinn joined the $6.5 billion LUCRF Super as a manager for business development on October 8.
Prior to this, he was a part of HESTA's executive management team as the fund's executive, advice strategy for five years, until 2018.
In his new role at LUCRF, he reports to executive manager of distribution, Chris Deakin, who joined the fund last year from IOOF.
"Justin has broad experience across leadership, business growth, member education and advice, strategy and technology enablement," Deakin said in an emailed response.
"He's successfully led large and diverse teams, bringing a strong blend of technical capability and leadership experience.
"Importantly, Justin's passion for putting members first and his considerable experience in industry super, make him very well placed to lead our business development team and contribute to the execution of the LUCRF Super growth strategy."
Earlier this month, HESTA appointed a new general manager of financial planning, tasking the new hire with increasing the share of its members accessing financial advice and to grow its product distribution footprint through external financial advisers.
The role went to Chris Joiner, who was Industry Fund Services' executive manager of advice solutions.
