Macquarie's wealth division is about to see a few changes at the top.
From April 1, Macquarie head of wealth product and technology Cameron Garrett will head up the firm's wealth intermediary.
After leading the firm's wealth products and technology for around three and a half years, Garrett is set to assume significant distribution responsibility for Macquarie's wealth products.
He will ultimately be responsible for the firm's relationships with about 7000 financial advisers who use Macquarie wealth products, including its wrap platform, cash management accounts and managed accounts offerings.
Garrett has been with Macquarie for 19 years, and previously worked at Merrill Lynch, Citi and Morgan Stanley.
Replacing Garrett as the head of Macquarie's wealth products and technology will be current wealth chief operations officer Michelle Weber.
Weber has served as wealth chief operating officer for just over three years, and previously was a program director with the firm.
In her new role Weber will continue to improve the experience of advisers and clients when engaging with Macquarie's wealth products, which has been a core function of Garrett's work in the role.
