AMP Capital has confirmed the retirement of ipac Securities' chief investment officer and co-founder of the long-running Income Generator strategy.
After 12 years with ipac Securities, Jeff Rogers retired at the end of January. He joined the firm in 2011 following the merger of AMP and AXA Asia Pacific.
Since then Rogers has been responsible for determining the strategic direction of the ipac suite of funds and played a key role in the development of AMP Capital's goals-based fund range.
His responsibilities have been assumed by Stephen Flegg, who has acted as portfolio manager of the funds since 2017. Rogers will continue to work with AMP Capital in a consultative capacity.

Rogers co-designed the Income Generator and Premium Growth funds and contributed to the successful positioning of AMP Capital's retirement solutions, such as the MyNorth Retirement Fund, AMP Capital said.
AMP Capital global head of public markets Simon Warner described Rogers as an outstanding thought leader.
"His relentless focus on delivering the best outcomes for customers showcases the very best of AMP Capital," he said.
"I'd like to personally thank Jeff for his incredible contribution to our business as chief investment officer of the ipac funds over the years. It has been a privilege to work with him."
