A $29 billion government superannuation fund has welcomed a new general manager of member engagement.
ESSSuper has appointed David Daley in the role, replacing Brad Weldon who served on a contract basis since May 2017.
Daley joined the fund from Link Group where he was group contact centre capability lead. He is also a former executive manager, resource planning at Suncorp and held roles with Australian Administration Services and Westpac.
The fund also recently added two new faces to its investment team, welcoming Zong Aw and Leroy D'Souza.

How much further can global growth fly?
Aw joined the fund as investments manager while D'Souza is a senior investments analyst.
Aw was previously a consultant at Frontier Advisors and a member of the equity manager research team. He has also previously worked in Ernst & Young's transfer pricing team.
Meanwhile, D'Souza joined from Mercer where he was also a consultant, providing investment advice to super funds and not-for-profit clients. He has also previously held roles with NAB and Deloitte.
ESSSuper's head of investments, Daniel Selioutine, said: "We're excited to have Zong and Leroy join us, particularly as we're celebrating five years of significant growth in size - year on year - of our accumulation fund."
