Financial Standard launches FS Aspire CPD

Financial Standard is drawing on its deep catalogue of financial advice, superannuation and wealth management content to roll out a new proprietary Continuing Professional Development program for financial services professionals.

FS Aspire CPD offers hundreds of CPD hours of technical content to financial advice, superannuation, investment management and insurance professionals. It also offers access to technical resources from both Australian and global leaders in financial services.

"FS Aspire CPD is an exciting offering for the market. The team has placed a great deal of effort into the content and user experience to enable financial services professionals to be as well-equipped as possible to meet continuing professional development criteria from ASIC and FASEA," Rainmaker Group executive director of product development Andrew Keevers said. Financial Standard is the publishing division of Rainmaker Group.

The move will also benefit those who are transitioning towards self-licensing.

"We've identified gaps in the market regarding content around various topics that are important to financial advisers with their own AFSL," Financial Standard director of technical services Giovanni Munoz said.

FS Aspire CPD includes audio, video and written content accessible via desktop or mobile. The system can generate custom reports on CPD activity and help corporate administrators create compulsory content and exams for larger financial services groups.

Rainmaker Group managing director Christopher Page said FS Aspire CPD highlights Financial Standard's commitment to education within financial services, "which brings together our leading technical, audio, video and events-based content from our suite of products."

With the system going live this month, existing CPD users automatically benefit from the functionalities of the new platform. More information on FS Aspire CPD are available here.
