Jean-Luc Ambrosi is leaving CareSuper in August after three years with the fund. He joined CareSuper from TelstraSuper, where he'd spent eight years as executive general manager, marketing and digital. Before that, he held senior marketing positions with Vanguard, ME Bank, BlackRock and NAB. CareSuper chief executive Jason Murray said Ambrosi was instrumental in bringing the CareSuper brand to market amid its merger with Spirit Super. "Jean-Luc is a recognised industry leader in brand, digital and member experience. I want to thank him for his vision, leadership and service to our members at CareSuper," Murray said. Meantime, the fund has appointed a new deputy chair in Michael Drew, effective July 18. Drew served as a consultant to the former CareSuper board and was appointed to that of the merged entity on 1 November 2024. He is currently chair of the fund's investment committee. He will replace John Mazengarb who started out on the board of Tasplan, was a director of Spirit Super and became deputy chair of CareSuper in November 2024. Rebecca Girard has also left the board. The fund has also added two new directors - Robert Potter and Wayne Davy. Potter is a former national secretary of the Australian Services Union and former vice president of the Australian Council of Trade Unions. He has also previously served on the board of CareSuper. Meanwhile, Davy was the chief executive of Quadrant Super and Tasplan, both of which have since merged into what is now CareSuper. "Our vision is to be Australia's most trusted partner in retirement confidence, and our clear focus on our members is reflected in our equal representation model," CareSuper chair Linda Scott said. "Both Rob and Wayne join us with a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our members and the workplaces in which they work." Related News |
