Apostle Fund adds two staffersBY ELIZABETH FRY | THURSDAY, 29 MAY 2025 2:25PM![]() Apostle Funds Management has welcomed two senior executives to its investment and operations team as it intensifies its push for growth. Adam Camillo joins as chief operating officer while Harrison Lane is appointed investments director. Lane brings over a decade of experience in both traditional and alternative asset classes, investment due diligence and manager research. He is a senior member of Apostle's direct investment team and manager selection program, working across Apostle's own strategies and those of external global partners. Additionally, he serves as an investment specialist, engaging with institutional and wealth clients on investment strategy, performance and outlook. Before Apostle, Lane held roles at BlackRock and Willis Towers Watson, managing investment portfolios, leading on investment analysis and strategy, and presenting key findings and recommendations to boards and investment committees in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. At BlackRock, he was part of the multi-asset strategies and solutions team, focusing on investment activities related to the implementation of multi-asset portfolios, including private markets and infrastructure. Throughout his eight-year tenure at the WTW, he split his time between the Sydney and London offices, most recently leading investment due diligence on liquid alternative investment strategies, sourcing best-in-class fund managers, and creating tailored mandates for clients. During his time with the asset consultant, he worked as an investment consultant and an associate portfolio manager. As for Camillo, he arrives from Associated Global Partners the ASX-listed multi-boutique asset management firm where he held the same role. Before that, he spent a year at Perpetual as a head of corporate marketing and brand following seven years at AMP Capital where he oversaw the fund's overall digital strategy, including ownership of marketing technology and digital marketing practices. "We are pleased to welcome Adam and Harrison to Apostle as we continue to advance our growth strategy and deepen our client offering. Complementing our institutional background and enhancing our ability to deliver high-performing alternative solutions and curated global strategies, their appointments mark another important step in the evolution of our business," said Apostle managing director Mitchell Gunman. Gunman recently replaced Karyn West who recently moved into the role of executive chair. "These appointments follow the firm's recent leadership transition and will support Apostle's evolution as it continues to build on its institutional heritage, and scales within the wholesale, and private wealth channels," he added. |
